Senior Network Engineer CCNA

Our client a large aerospace/defence company is looking for a number of Senior Cisco Network Engineers to join their team based in Portsmouth
Your main responsibilities will include:
Performing verification and validation activities for Baseband equipment as directed by the Test Team Leader
Construction/integration of equipment to form test environment ensuring calibration & fit for purposes
Assist in the creation review & maintenance of Test documentation and VCRi supporting Test reviews (such as TRR TRB DRB) as required
Writing/executing test specifications/procedures in accordance with test documentation & company Product Assurance policies
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong experience within the IT arena with prime focus on Cisco technologies network construction and verification
Key skills/competencies also include:
CCNA certification or equivalent experience with view to achieving CCNP:
Catalyst Switches 29xx > 65xx series
Routers 18xx > 72xx series
LAN Switching concepts
Spanning Tree Protocol
Ethernet concepts
IP address schemes and subnetting (IPv4)
IPv6 knowledge
Hot Standby Routing Protocol (HSRP)
Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP)
Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP)
Network Address Translation (NAT)
Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP)
Domain Name System (DNS)
Network Management (Logging SNMP Syslog)
IP Routing: OSPF BGP EIGRP Redistribution RIPv2 Policy Routing
